With the day to day increasing technologies banking sector has also transformed from a traditional lending and depositing sector to a much more appealing and challenging sector. Age (As on 01.07.2015):

Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1985 and not later than 01.07.1995 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.08.2015):

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

INTERVIEW

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for CWE PO/MT-V will subsequently be called foran Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time &date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

NOTE: The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40 (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview will be 80:20respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination of CWE PO/MT-V and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed. A candidate should qualify both in the CWE and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlistedfor subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPSwebsite.

Cutoff Score

Mean – 3/4th of Standard Deviation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD categories

Mean – 1/4th of Standard Deviation for General Category

There will be a second level cutoff point on total as per requirement

Syllabus

Quantitative aptitude:

Number system, HCF & LCM, Number series, Problems based on numbers. Approximation Wrong Number, Decimal fractions, Square root and cube root, Simplifications. Partnerships, Percentage, Ratio and proportions, Average & Ages Ratio & Proportion. Profit and loss, Simple interest and compound interest, Time and work, Time and distance, Average, Mensuration. Permutation and combination, Data tables, Probability, Pie charts, Bar graphs, Line graphs, Mixed graphs, Case study.

Reasoning Ability: It contains Verbal & Non Verbal Category questions. Verbal reasoning means blood relation / Sitting arrangement / coding decoding / making series and Syllogism. Non verbal covers making series / analogy and classification.

English Language: It will have basic English knowledge, General English, Comprehension & Spelling sections which is have Vocabulary, synonyms, Antonyms, Word formation and Sentence completion, Comprehension: Theme detection, Deriving conclusions, Passage completion, Error detection and Passage correction, Sentence correction

General Awareness: It is basically General Knowledge paper which covers latest information about the Current Affairs from Indian Economy, International Economy, UNO, Marketing, Awards & Honors Sports, Finance, Agriculture etc. History of Banking, current affairs of last 6 months, countries / currencies, Books & Their Authors, Banking Terms, RBI, Fiscal Monetary Policies etc.

Computers: Basic computer terminology, Software & Hardware questions, Computer abbreviation, Data Base Management System (DBMS), Microsoft-office, Basic knowledge of Internet use etc.
